Exchange Policy & Order Processing


The following outlines the Exchange Policy at Veggiewitch, as well as Order Processing.

Returns for Exchange:
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not refund products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Downloadable software products
Health and personal care items

To complete an exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Exchanges and Processing:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange. If you are approved, a replacement will be sent to you.

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or returned more than 30 days after delivery, are not eligible.

Late or Missing Replacement:
If you haven’t received a replacement yet, please be patient.

Sale Items (if applicable):
Only regular priced items may be exchanged, unfortunately sale items cannot.

Exchanges (when applicable):
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at denise AT veggiewitch DOT com and send your item to: 919, 710 - 20 Crowfoot Cres NW Calgary Alberta CA T3G2P6.

Shipping of Returns for Exchange:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

The Rest of the World - $18 

Items are shipped from Canada using either Canada Post, Purolator, or UPS.

All orders (local, domestic, and international) ship Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

All orders are shipped after payments have cleared from PayPal, and have transferred successfully to me. I strive to ship your item(s) within 5-10 business days of receiving payment (unless custom amounts have been arranged). Shipping confirmation will be provided, as well as tracking information (where that option has been selected/purchased).

Shipping Transit Times are Approximate:
Within Canada Expedited Post - 4-10 Days (DC/Tracking)
US-Bound Expedited Post - 6-10 Days (DC/Tracking)
Super-Fast/Courier - 2-4 Days (DC/Tracking)
Overseas Air - 2-4 Weeks

It is not uncommon for packages to be held-up in Customs as they pass between the US and Canadian Border, or beyond. This can result in delays, and are beyond my control. Once packages have left my hands, or yours, they are in the care of that particular Postal Service. Please be advised.
